Twizel is a 40 minute drive from Mt. Cook Village. Nearby is Mount Cook National Park and Lake Ruataniwha.

Bran, a small village nestled in the Carpathian Mountains of central Romania, is best known for its medieval fortress commonly referred to as “Dracula’s Castle.” While the connection to Bram Stoker’s fictional character is loose at best, Bran Castle continues to draw travelers with its striking towers, stone walls, and position on a rocky cliff. Measuring just 1.5 kilometers long, the island is completely free of roads, shops, and electricity. What it offers instead is pure seclusion and untouched beauty. Cruise ships often anchor offshore, bringing day visitors to its white-sand beaches and shallow coral lagoons, but once they depart, the island returns to stillness.

Milford Sound, located in New Zealand’s Fiordland National Park, is often described as one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in the country. Carved by glaciers during the Ice Age, the fjord is framed by sheer cliffs that plunge into deep waters, with iconic peaks like Mitre Peak rising dramatically above the sound.

San Juan del Sur is a coastal town on Nicaragua's southwestern Pacific shore, set around a curved bay bordered by hills. Its waterfront combines a working fishing community with restaurants, small hotels, shops, and a broad sandy beach. The surrounding coastline includes forested headlands, rocky coves, and additional beaches reached by road or boat.
