Nestled in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, Addo Elephant National Park offers a unique safari experience centered around one of the country’s most impressive wildlife spectacles. Established in 1931 to protect the last remaining elephants of the region, the park now spans over 1,640 square kilometers and is home to a thriving population of more than 600 elephants.

Tucked between Jordan's sandstone cliffs in the southwestern desert, Petra was carved directly into rose-colored rock more than 2,000 years ago. Visitors approaching through the narrow gorge known as the Siq are rewarded with their first glimpse of Al-Khazneh, the Treasury, a towering facade that seems to appear from another world.

Through the city is a big boulevard with the municipal theatre at the north end and the city hall at the south end. The theatre was built in the 19:th century and is a very beautiful building. The city hall was built in the 18th century in a late Gustavian design.

Central Oregon. Nestled along the Deschutes River, Bend is renowned for its outdoor activities and vibrant culture. The city is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering year-round opportunities for hiking, biking, and skiing. The nearby Mount Bachelor, a popular ski resort, transforms into a winter wonderland with over 4,000 acres of skiable terrain. In the warmer months, it serves as a hub for mountain biking and hiking, with trails that cater to all skill levels.

A relatively recent addition to Costa Rica's list of national parks is Tenorio Volcano National Park, home to its namesake Tenorio Volcano as well as its taller sister, Miravalles Volcano, also the highest mountain in the Guanacaste Mountains.
