Ashland is a small city in southern Oregon, set in the foothills of the Siskiyou Mountains near the California border. Ashland’s compact center contains independent shops, restaurants, galleries, and historic buildings, while Ashland Creek runs through the city and into the park.

Bruny Island is an island destination off the south-east coast of Tasmania, separated from the mainland by the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and reached by a short vehicle ferry from Kettering. Kalmar Union, combination of the crowns of Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, effected at Kalmar, Sweden, by Margaret I in 1397. Because all three crowns were elective, the union could not be maintained by inheritance. Margaret's successors controlled Sweden intermittently until Gustavus I of Sweden dissolved the union (1523). Norway became independent in 1814.

Half Moon Bay is a coastal city on California’s San Mateo County coast, located south of San Francisco along a broad curve of the Pacific shoreline. The community is surrounded by agricultural land, coastal bluffs, sandy beaches, and rolling hills, with the Santa Cruz Mountains rising inland.

Sandy Bay is a small coastal community in Hanover Parish on Jamaica’s northwestern coast, situated between Lucea and Hopewell along the Caribbean Sea. The area is characterized by a narrow coastal plain, low hills, sandy shoreline, and tropical vegetation, with the surrounding countryside containing farms and small settlements.
