St Lucia is a riverside suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, located about seven kilometres southwest of the city centre on a peninsula surrounded on several sides by the Brisbane River. The suburb combines established residential streets, riverfront spaces, leafy vegetation, local shops, and the large campus of The University of Queensland. The university occupies much of the eastern part of St Lucia, while residential neighbourhoods extend across the western and central areas.

Makgadikgadi Pans National Park lies in northeastern Botswana and forms part of one of the largest salt flat systems in the world. The landscape is defined by wide open pans, sandy tracks, grasslands, and scattered baobab trees that rise from the dry terrain.

Anse Mitan is a coastal neighborhood and beach on the Pointe du Bout peninsula in Les Trois-Îlets, on the Caribbean side of Martinique. The beach curves gently along Fort-de-France Bay, with pale sand, calm coastal waters, and views across the bay toward Fort-de-France and the Pitons du Carbet. Unlike more secluded beaches on the island, Anse Mitan is closely integrated with the surrounding resort area, with hotels, restaurants, shops, and water-sports facilities along the shoreline.
