Located about twenty-five miles southwest of Rapid City, South Dakota, lies Mount Rushmore. Following Highway 244 from the west leads to the orientation center. There exhibits tell how sculptor Gutzon Borglum carved away twice the rock needed to construct Egypt's Great Sphinx (which isn't even as tall as Washington's nose).

Boa Vista is an island in Cape Verde known for its broad sandy landscapes, volcanic terrain, and long Atlantic coastline. It is the easternmost of the Barlavento islands and has a relatively dry climate, with much of its interior covered by open plains, dunes, and rocky ground. Sal Rei, the island’s main town, sits beside a sheltered bay and serves as its principal commercial centre.

Touba is a major religious city in central Senegal and the spiritual center of the Mouride Muslim community. Located in the Diourbel Region, the city is dominated by the Great Mosque of Touba and the mausoleum of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba, founder of the Mouride order.
