Located off the southwest tip of England, there are about 150 small islands that make-up this set of islands.

Hambantota is a coastal city in Sri Lanka’s Southern Province, set along a dry, sunlit stretch of the island’s southeastern coast. Its landscape combines the Indian Ocean, salt pans, scrubland, lagoons, and agricultural areas, giving the city a different character from the wetter coastal towns farther west. Hambantota is an important regional center and a gateway to several major wildlife destinations.

Los Tres Ojos (The Three Eyes) National Park is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the Dominican Republic. Made up of a cave system, there are four lakes within, each with their own features or traits.

While an earthquake in 1972 left few buildings intact in downtown Managua, new areas are building up. Managua has excellent restaurants, nice hotels, and is a good base for day tours into the countryside.

Seen from the train, Durham presents a magnificent sight, with cathedral and castle perched atop a bluff enclosed by a loop of the River Wera, and linked to the suburbs by a series of sturdy bridges.
