Jamestown is the capital and main settlement of St. Helena, a remote British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic. The town lies in a narrow valley opening onto the sea, with steep volcanic cliffs rising on both sides and historic buildings lining the main streets. Its compact centre contains many surviving structures associated with the island’s East India Company heritage, reflecting Jamestown’s former role as an important mid-Atlantic port.

Nestled high in the Pyrenees, Soldeu is a mountain village in the principality of Andorra, best known for its access to Grandvalira, which is one of the largest ski areas in Southern Europe. At 1,800 meters above sea level, Soldeu has grown from a quiet farming village into a winter destination with over 200 kilometers of slopes. It hosted World Cup alpine ski races in 2019 and is scheduled to host the Finals again in 2029.

Bioko is a volcanic island in the Gulf of Guinea and forms the main part of Equatorial Guinea’s insular region.

Toco is a rural coastal community at the northeastern tip of Trinidad, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea near the boundary between the two waters. The area is surrounded by forested hills, coconut groves, small farms, fishing villages, and rocky headlands. Toco is connected to the rest of Trinidad by the North Coast Road, which follows a scenic route through the Northern Range before reaching the coast.
