Corinna is a small, remote settlement on Tasmania’s west coast, set beside the dark waters of the Pieman River at the southern edge of takayna / Tarkine. Once a gold-mining settlement, it is now centred on a wilderness village surrounded by cool-temperate rainforest, rivers, and rugged country. Corinna has no mobile phone coverage and very limited supplies, giving it a distinctly secluded character.

The region is famous for its more than 20 beaches, each with its own personality.

Along the banks of the Moselle River, Cochem is a charming village known for Reichsburg castle as well as its old town, with its half-timbered houses.

Groton is a coastal town in southeastern Connecticut, positioned between the Thames River and Long Island Sound. Its identity has been shaped by maritime trade, shipbuilding, military activity, and submarine technology, earning it the longstanding nickname “Submarine Capital of the World.” The town includes several distinct areas, from the historic waterfront of Groton Bank to beaches, wooded neighborhoods, and working industrial facilities.
