Pohnpei is the largest island in the Federated States of Micronesia and the administrative center of Pohnpei State. It lies in the western Pacific and is known for its mountainous interior, dense tropical vegetation, and high rainfall. The island is surrounded by a barrier reef and numerous small islets, creating a landscape of forested slopes, mangroves, rivers, and coastal waters.

Almaty is Kazakhstan's largest city and a major cultural and economic center in the southeast of the country. It lies at the foot of the Trans-Ili Alatau, where the broad urban area gives way to forested mountain slopes and alpine terrain. Tree-lined streets, parks, historic neighborhoods, modern buildings, and mountain views define much of the cityscape. Boynton Beach is a coastal city in southeastern Florida, located in Palm Beach County between West Palm Beach and Delray Beach. The community stretches from the Atlantic Ocean inland along the Intracoastal Waterway, with residential neighborhoods, commercial districts, parks, and waterfront areas spread across a largely flat coastal landscape. Its municipal beach provides direct access to the Atlantic, while the Boynton Harbor Marina supports boating and other activities on the water.

Yellowknife is the capital of the Northwest Territories, set on the rocky northern shore of Great Slave Lake amid the forests and exposed Canadian Shield of the subarctic. The city developed around gold mining and later became the territorial centre for government, commerce, transportation, and northern services. Today, Yellowknife serves as a gateway to the wider Northwest Territories and the Canadian Arctic. Its location beneath the auroral oval makes the northern lights a defining feature.

Kununurra is known by the local Miriwoong people as 'Gananoorrang', and is situated in the far north eastern corner of Western Australia just a short distance from the Northern Territory border. Kununurra is centred around the Ord River, with several lakes at lagoons surrounding the town itself. There is a fabulous lookout from the town at Kelly's Knob, giving views all around the area.
