Lake Mburo National Park is a protected area in southwestern Uganda, situated between Kampala and the western highlands. It is centered on a chain of lakes and a landscape of rolling hills, open grassland, woodland, wetlands, and rocky outcrops. Lake Mburo is the largest of the park’s lakes and forms an important part of its ecosystem.

Many consider this the prettiest town in Holland, with its well preserved 15th to 17th century buildings.

Kalamata is a coastal city in the southwestern Peloponnese, set at the head of the Messinian Gulf beneath the slopes of Mount Taygetos. Hambantota is a coastal city in Sri Lanka’s Southern Province, set along a dry, sunlit stretch of the island’s southeastern coast. Its landscape combines the Indian Ocean, salt pans, scrubland, lagoons, and agricultural areas, giving the city a different character from the wetter coastal towns farther west. Hambantota is an important regional center and a gateway to several major wildlife destinations.

This 2,000-year-old city, where the Teutonic Order founded one of its first commanderies in the 13th century, lies on the convergence of the Moselle and Rhine Rivers. Hop on a cable car, one of the city's most popular attractions, for stunning city-wide views, or cruise down the Rhine to spot some of Koblenz's magnificent fortresses and castles, including the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and Schloss Stolzenfels.
