Chittagong, officially known as Chattogram, is a major port city in southeastern Bangladesh, located near the Bay of Bengal and the mouth of the Karnaphuli River. It is an important commercial center, with the Port of Chattogram serving as the country's principal seaport.

Wiesbaden is located in west central Germany at the southern foot of the Taunus Mountains, on the Rhine River, near Frankfurt. It is popular for its 26 hot mineral springs and mild climate and tourism is vital to the local economy. At about 3,810 meters above sea level, Lake Titicaca creates a distinctive setting where cultivated slopes meet deep blue water and distant mountain peaks.

Taraz is a historic city in southern Kazakhstan, located in the Talas River valley near the Kyrgyzstan border. Its position along the routes linking Central Asia with China made it an important center of trade and settlement, and archaeological remains around the city reveal its long role as a regional crossroads.
