Important both historically and economically, the beachside city of La Serena is one of Chile's oldest post-Columbian cities. The region's silver, copper and agriculture were so important that the city had its own mint. Today, La Serena maintains a colonial air, although it is threatening Viña del Mar's supremacy as premier beach resort. Apart from a string of beautiful beaches, attractions include a handful of museums and a number of nearby quaint villages and vineyards.

Kyrenia is a coastal city on the northern shore of Cyprus, set between the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the Kyrenia mountain range. Its historic harbor, waterfront promenade, and distinctive medieval castle form the center of the city, while the surrounding coastline includes beaches, rocky coves, and small fishing areas.

Paxi, also known as Paxos, is a small Ionian island south of Corfu, known for dense olive groves, sheltered harbours, limestone cliffs, and clear coastal waters. The island’s main settlement, Gaios, surrounds a protected harbour formed by the islets of Agios Nikolaos and Panagia, while Lakka and Loggos provide two smaller waterfront villages.

Kansas City, Kansas offers more than meets the eye. Located at the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, this city blends its industrial roots with surprising pockets of creativity, flavor, and local pride. The Blue Mountains form Jamaica’s highest mountain range, rising across the eastern part of the island between Kingston, Saint Andrew, Saint Thomas, and Portland. The range is known for steep ridges, deep valleys, cloud forest, waterfalls, and cool mountain conditions that contrast with Jamaica’s coastal plains. Blue Mountain Peak is the highest point on the island, while numerous smaller communities and farms occupy the slopes.
