Palm Island is a small private resort island just off Aruba's southern coast, reached by a short ferry ride from the mainland near the fishing community of De Palm Island. The island is surrounded by the warm Caribbean Sea and features sandy beaches, shallow lagoons, coral reefs, and landscaped areas.

This mountainous archipelago offers magnificent views of stark white glaciers and snowfields, which cover a vast stretch of the region. Arctic flora and fauna fascinate; catch a glimpse of polar bears, reindeer, arctic foxes, and walruses amongst the mossy tundra and icy coasts. In the summer, visitors will witness the rare splendor of Svalbard’s midnight sun.

Temirtau is an industrial city in central Kazakhstan, located in the Karaganda Region on the Nura River near the Samarkand Reservoir. Its landscape combines broad steppe with the waterways and low hills of central Kazakhstan, while the city itself is strongly associated with metallurgy and heavy industry. Large industrial facilities form an important part of its skyline and local economy.

Adjoining the idyllic farm of the McGill family are miles of beaches, tussock grass, and wildflower meadows, the nesting grounds of hundreds of Magellanic and gentoo penguins, upland and kelp geese, crested and flightless steamer ducks, tussock birds, and night herons. Located in the south of Tanzania, the Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest. Thanks to the undisturbed wilderness and diverse wildlife, it was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1982.
