Miyazaki is a coastal city on the southeastern side of Kyushu, facing the Pacific Ocean. Miyazaki is the capital of Miyazaki Prefecture and serves as a regional center for commerce, culture, and transportation.

Cachi is a small mountain town in Argentina’s Salta Province, set in the northern Calchaquí Valleys at more than 2,000 meters above sea level. Its historic center has cobbled streets, raised sidewalks, adobe buildings, and a central square surrounded by traditional architecture. Lake Kariba is a large reservoir on the Zambezi River along the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. On the Zimbabwean side, the lake stretches through a landscape of wooded hills, rocky shorelines, islands, and broad expanses of open water. The reservoir is closely connected with the town of Kariba, which developed around the hydroelectric project at the lake’s eastern end.
