Tetouan is a northern Moroccan city set between the Rif Mountains and the Mediterranean coast. Its whitewashed buildings, compact medina, and Andalusian-influenced architecture give it a distinctive identity within Morocco. The old city climbs the slopes of Jebel Dersa and is enclosed by historic walls with several gates leading into souks, artisan quarters, mosques, and residential lanes.

Lake Issyk is a mountain lake in southeastern Kazakhstan, located in a gorge of the Trans-Ili Alatau about 60 kilometers east of Almaty. The lake lies at roughly 1,800 meters above sea level within the Ile-Alatau National Park and is surrounded by steep rocky slopes, coniferous forests, and alpine meadows.

Many consider this the prettiest town in Holland, with its well preserved 15th to 17th century buildings.

Sausalito was incorporated in 1893, and named by 18th century Spanish explorers for the "little willow" trees (Saucelito) which were found, in abundance, on the banks of its streams.
