Provincetown is a small coastal town at the northern tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, surrounded by the waters of Cape Cod Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Its narrow peninsula is shaped by shifting dunes, sandy beaches, tidal flats, and protected coastal habitats. Santa Margarita is a small community in San Luis Obispo County, set among rolling hills and oak-covered countryside near the southern edge of the Santa Lucia Mountains. Located along the historic El Camino Real corridor, it has a rural character shaped by ranching, agriculture, and its position between the Salinas Valley and the Central Coast. The town sits near Santa Margarita Lake and is surrounded by open grasslands, vineyards, and wooded hills.
This island is Australia's third largest, only a short flight or ferry trip from the mainland. The abundance of native flora and fauna are unthreatened due to its remoteness. Sea lions basking in the sun and penguins promenading are a spectacle to see. There is no other place with such a variety of scenery - deserts, mountains, lush tropical vegetation, and valleys filled with thousands of banana trees. Agriculture here offers everything: lime trees, vine-yards, coffee plantations, sugar cane, almond, tomato and banana crops, as well as, pine and palm forests.
Located in northwest England, Birmingham has a tremendous history as an industrial city. Close to coal and iron ore supplies, it was here that Bouton and Watt harnessed steam power to run machinery. The Museum of Science and Industry resides here and provides an excellent look at England's history.
