Freudenberg is a small medieval town in Germany. The "Alter Flecken" is Freudenberg's downtown area, built wholly of half-timbered houses that give the town a fairytale appearance. An open-air stage with roofed grandstand, the town museum housing a 1904 steam engine, and annual Oktoberfest celebrations are the town's most popular attractions.

Bright is situated in the Ovens Valley and offers beautiful scenery and landscape. There are many ski resorts surround Bright, with Mt Buffalo National Park being the closest. This is obviously one attraction to the area, although Bright offers various activities all year around

Important both historically and economically, the beachside city of La Serena is one of Chile's oldest post-Columbian cities. The region's silver, copper and agriculture were so important that the city had its own mint. Today, La Serena maintains a colonial air, although it is threatening Viña del Mar's supremacy as premier beach resort. Apart from a string of beautiful beaches, attractions include a handful of museums and a number of nearby quaint villages and vineyards.
