Unlike busier stops along the trail, Pheriche gives travelers space to pause, adjust to the altitude, and take in the scale of the Himalayas without distraction.

British influences are quite evident in Victoria, from afternoon tea times to elegant Victorian architecture. This capital of British Columbia on Vancouver Island provides ample outdoor recreation, with its public parks and access to both the ocean and wilderness. Cyclists will be right at home here, as Victoria boasts a seemingly endless number of bike paths for exploring.

Broken Hill is a mining town which is also very popular amongst Australian artists. The town is known as ‘Silver City’ and still mines for Silver, lead and zinc today. However there is only one mine that is still open today. When you get here be prepared to change your watches.
