This is not your typical view of white sand. White Sands National Park is the world's largest gypsum dune field.

Kumamoto is a city on Japan’s southern island of Kyushu, known for its castle, volcanic landscapes, and traditional gardens. It serves as the capital of Kumamoto Prefecture and lies on the western side of Mount Aso’s broader volcanic region. The city center combines historic districts with modern shopping streets, tram lines, and riverside neighborhoods.

Situated on the north coast of the Snæfellsnes peninsula between a mountain range and the sea is the small town of Grundarfjordur, Iceland. Though certainly now the most well-known town on the peninsula, its nearby mountain Kirkjufell ("church mountain" in Icelandic) is perhaps Iceland's most famous.
