Salisbury Plain is a broad coastal area on the northwest side of South Georgia, backed by steep mountains and glaciers. Its open shoreline is particularly notable for the large Antarctic fur seal population that gathers here, making it one of the island’s important wildlife viewing sites. The plain lies along the Bay of Isles, where beaches, tussock-covered slopes, snowfields, and rugged peaks create a varied landscape. Access is generally by expedition vessel.

San Pedro is located on the Ambergris Caye and is fifteen minutes by air from Belize City. The are a variety of restaurants, shops and entertainment in San Pedro.

West Yellowstone, Montana sits right at the edge of one of the most visited protected landscapes in the United States, serving as a gateway to vast forests, geothermal fields, and wide open valleys. Brasília may be a World Heritage Site, but it is only of interest to town planning and architecture students, and those keen to witness the folly of man on a metropolitan scale. Designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer, urban planner Lucio Costa, and landscape architect Burle Marx, the city was built in an incredible three years between 1957 and 1960.
