Glendalough, located in County Wicklow, is one of Ireland’s most historically significant and visually striking valleys. Ambleside lies on the main north/south road through the central lakes (A591) at the northern end of Lake Windermere. Its central location makes it an ideal base for walking, climbing or touring. The 300 square mile Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve is reached by taking the Georgeville turnoff at mile 65 of the Western Highway. After going through miles of tropical jungle you will be in a forest of tall pines growing amongst wildflowers and grasses. The area has whitewater rivers, waterfalls and cave systems.

The city Dreieich is located in the north-west of Offenbach county and considered an important residential and shopping town with a good potential for recreation and leisure. It is a neat little city located in the heart of the Rhein-Main area, halfway between Frankfurt and Darmstadt. It inhabits about 50,000 people.
