Urfa proudly exhibits the legacy of all civilizations that have prospered in this region. In the second millenium B.C., it was a city of a Hurrite state. Tradition relates that Abraham was born in a cave near the area where the Mevlid Mosque now stands.

Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, is one of India’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, where ancient temples stand alongside colonial-era architecture and modern skyscrapers. Originally known as Madras, the city grew around Fort St. George, built by the British East India Company in 1644. One of Chennai’s most well-known features is Marina Beach, which stretches for over 13 kilometers and is among the longest urban beaches in the world.

Timaru is located on an island off the east coast of New Zealand, between Christchurch and Dunedin. It is a main sea port for industry and farming, as well as a popular port of call, especially around the Christmas Holidays. Originally named "Te Maru - The Place of Shelter", this port town was built as a whaling station until immigrants from England arrived in 1859, and the town was finally declared a city in 1948.

Alotau is the capital of Milne Bay Province in southeastern Papua New Guinea, located on the northern shore of Milne Bay. The town sits between forested hills and sheltered coastal waters, with small islands and bays extending across the surrounding seascape.
