Pond Inlet is an Inuit community on the northern coast of Baffin Island in Nunavut, positioned beside Eclipse Sound and surrounded by rugged mountains, rocky islands, and Arctic tundra. The community is known in Inuktitut as Mittimatalik, a name associated with the area's traditional Inuit identity.

Giant’s Causeway is a remarkable coastal formation on the north coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, where roughly 40,000 interlocking basalt columns extend from the foot of the cliffs into the sea. Unlike Grande Terre, Lifou has no high mountain range, but its limestone plateau reaches enough elevation to create cliffs, caves, and elevated coastal viewpoints.
