Grand Teton National Park, located in northwestern Wyoming, offers a breathtaking panorama of rugged mountain landscapes and pristine wilderness. Dominated by the imposing Teton Range, the park’s dramatic peaks rise sharply from the valley floor, creating one of the most striking mountain vistas in the United States. The Tetons are renowned for their stunning granite spires, including the iconic Grand Teton, which reaches 13,775 feet and is a favorite among climbers and photographers alike.

Fátima, a small town in central Portugal, has become one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in the world, drawing millions of visitors annually. The Sanctuary of Fátima, a sprawling complex of religious buildings and monuments, stands at the heart of the town. Pilgrims from all over the globe come to light candles, attend mass, and walk the sacred paths in reverence.

A relatively recent addition to Costa Rica's list of national parks is Tenorio Volcano National Park, home to its namesake Tenorio Volcano as well as its taller sister, Miravalles Volcano, also the highest mountain in the Guanacaste Mountains.

Opatija, located on Croatia’s Kvarner Bay, has been drawing visitors since the 19th century, when Austro-Hungarian aristocrats built grand villas along its Adriatic shoreline. Today, many of those same buildings still stand with some restored as luxury hotels and others preserved as cultural landmarks. The town’s most recognizable structure, Villa Angiolina, opened in 1844 and marked the start of Opatija’s rise as a fashionable seaside resort.

Aberdare National Park is a 311 square mile sanctuary on an isolated volcanic massif which forms part of the eastern wall of the Rift Valley. Part of the larger forest reserve, the Aberdares are covered with a dense rainforest and provide spectacular views over the Rift Valley. Bird life is abundant with more than 200 species.
