Pongara National Park protects a broad coastal landscape on the southern side of Gabon’s Komo Estuary, across the water from Libreville. Covering more than 96,000 hectares, the park includes Atlantic beaches, mangrove forests, tidal mudflats, lagoons, freshwater swamps, riverine forest and grassy savanna.

Snowdonia, a majestic national park in North Wales, offers a stunning tapestry of natural beauty and adventure. At its heart is Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, reaching 1,085 meters (3,560 feet). Grand-Bassam is a coastal city in southeastern Côte d’Ivoire, about 40 kilometres east of Abidjan, where the Ébrié Lagoon meets the Gulf of Guinea. The city extends across lagoon shores and a narrow coastal strip lined by Atlantic beaches and coconut palms.
