The largest virgin tract of rainforest in Australia (and the second largest in the world), this lush, tropical World Heritage area is a living testimonial to the ancient rainforests which once covered the earth's surface. Boa Vista is an island in Cape Verde known for its broad sandy landscapes, volcanic terrain, and long Atlantic coastline. It is the easternmost of the Barlavento islands and has a relatively dry climate, with much of its interior covered by open plains, dunes, and rocky ground. Sal Rei, the island’s main town, sits beside a sheltered bay and serves as its principal commercial centre.

North Seymour Island, located just north of Baltra in Ecuador’s Galápagos archipelago, is a compact but biologically rich destination known for its wildlife encounters. Though small in size, this flat, arid island punches far above its weight when it comes to natural spectacle, offering a rare chance to observe iconic species in a remarkably close setting.

Saly is a coastal resort town on Senegal’s Petite Côte, south of Dakar and near the city of Mbour. It developed around a broad Atlantic shoreline, with sandy beaches, palm-lined streets, hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, and small businesses serving both residents and visitors. The surrounding area combines coastal dunes, scrubland, fishing communities, and lagoons, while the nearby town of Mbour remains an important fishing and trading center.

Georgia's second largest city, it is located between the Caspian and Black seas. Dating back to at least the sixth century, it has outstanding museums.
