Vaavu Atoll lies south of Malé and is known for its relatively small population, numerous uninhabited islands, clear lagoons, and extensive coral reefs. Felidhoo is the administrative capital, while Thinadhoo, Keyodhoo, and Fulidhoo are among the better-known inhabited islands. The atoll has a quieter character than the more developed areas closer to the capital, with guesthouses, fishing communities, and resorts spread across separate islands.
Townsville, perched on the northeastern coast of Queensland, is a city where tropical charm meets rich heritage. Once a strategic military base during World War II, Townsville still carries echoes of its past through sites like the Townsville Heritage Centre. The Strand, a scenic, palm-lined beachfront promenade, serves as a gathering place for locals and visitors alike, where weekend drum circles and food trucks bring the esplanade to life.
Thunder Bay is a city on the northwestern shore of Lake Superior, where the Kaministiquia River reaches one of the world's largest freshwater lakes. Surrounded by forests, rocky hills, and broad water views, it serves as a regional centre for transportation, education, industry, and services across Northwestern Ontario.

Named after the Italian city of Genoa, Genovesa Island is a dormant volcano in the Galápagos Islands. Its nickname, Bird Island, stems from the large and diverse bird population including storm petrels, red-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls and more.
Its unique horseshoe shape is the result of the eruption of a shield volcano followed by the collapse of one side of the caldera wall. This formed Darwin Bay and its surrounding cliffs, home to many of the afore-mentioned birds. Lake Arcturus, a salt-water crater lake, lies at the center of the island.
Adventurous visitors can also climb up Prince Philip's Steps, also known as El Barranco. This steep, rocky path leads to a marvelous viewpoint at the top of 82-foot cliffs but its initial incline can be daunting.
