Set in a wide alpine valley beneath the north face of the Eiger, Grindelwald has long been a place where mountain life and mountaineering history intersect. Kootenay National Park occupies 1,406 square kilometres of the Canadian Rockies in southeastern British Columbia, extending from the Continental Divide toward the Columbia Valley. The park is known for its contrasts, with glaciers and alpine terrain giving way to dry grasslands, narrow canyons, and forested valleys. Highway 93 South crosses the park, providing access to many of its landscapes and viewpoints.

Copper Mountain is a mountain resort community in Summit County, Colorado, located along the Tenmile Range between Frisco and Leadville. The area is centered on Copper Mountain, whose ski terrain rises from a base area near 9,700 feet to elevations above 12,000 feet. The resort is known for terrain that follows the mountain's natural contours, with easier slopes generally lower on the mountain and more challenging terrain toward the higher elevations.

Crown Point is a coastal area at the southwestern tip of Tobago, known for sandy beaches, shallow Caribbean waters, and its proximity to the island’s main airport. The area sits between Store Bay and the shoreline around Pigeon Point, with low hills and tropical vegetation extending inland. Crown Point forms part of Tobago’s main visitor district, with hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, shops, and small businesses spread through the surrounding communities.
