Conwy
Located approximately 50 miles west of Chester, along the northern Welsh coast, is the beautiful small town of Conwy. In 1283, King Edward I set out to build a series of magnificent castles, of which Conwy was one of the largest. In addition, the town was fortified with walls which still exist today, making this one of the finest surviving fortified medieval towns in the world.
Khiva
Khiva, located in western Uzbekistan’s Khorezm region, is one of Central Asia’s most evocative Silk Road cities. Its walled inner city, known as the Itchan Kala, has preserved a remarkable collection of mud-brick architecture, minarets, mosques, and madrasahs that reflect centuries of Islamic culture and trade. Khiva served as a thriving trading hub and political center, linking merchants and scholars across the desert routes of the region.
Taha'a
Sharing a common lagoon with Raiatean and accessible only by boat, Taha'a produces about 80% of all vanilla in French Polynesia. Taha'a is the only island in the Society Islands that can be completely circled by boat inside the protected lagoon.

Orléans
Orléans is a city on the Loire River in central France, where a historic urban center meets broad riverbanks and the landscapes of the Loire Valley. Its position on the river helped make it an important center for trade and transport, while today the quays provide space for walking and cycling. The old center contains a mixture of medieval streets, Renaissance buildings, and later architecture, with the Sainte-Croix Cathedral forming a prominent landmark.
