Most people visit Gallipoli for the chilling, contemplative sites of Anzac Cove and Lone Pine Cemetery. To honor the 500,000 soldiers who lost their lives at battle here, this peninsula was made into a National Park.

Maligne Lake is a long, glacially fed lake in Jasper National Park in Alberta’s Canadian Rockies. Surrounded by steep mountain peaks, forests, and alpine terrain, it is one of the largest lakes in the park and an important part of the Maligne Valley. The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is a vast protected wilderness in Botswana’s Kalahari Desert, rather than South Africa. It covers a large area of semi-arid grassland, scrub, dry river valleys, and sandy plains, with Deception Valley and the northern section around Passarge Valley among its best-known areas. The reserve is remote and sparsely developed, with wildlife viewing focused on natural water sources and seasonal changes in vegetation

Douglas is the capital of the Isle of Man, occupying a broad bay on the island’s eastern coast and serving as its main commercial, cultural, and transport center. The town developed around a natural harbor and remains closely connected to the sea, with the Douglas Sea Terminal handling ferry services and other vessels.
