There's plenty to explore in this vibrant Caribbean paradise. Suchitoto, located in the Cuscatlán department of El Salvador, is a hilltop town known for its cobblestone streets and scenic views of Lake Suchitlán. Once an important center for indigo production, the town still celebrates its dye-making history through artisan workshops where visitors can learn to create textiles using natural indigo. The name “Suchitoto” comes from the Nahuatl language and means “place of flowers and birds,” a nod to the area’s diverse birdlife and surrounding vegetation.

Nearly 80% of the city was destroyed in WWII. It is now known for its many museums, including the Museum of Tapestry, the Brothers Grimm Museum and Fredericianum Museum.

Wadi Bani Khalid is a major valley in Oman's Al Sharqiyah North Governorate, extending from the Hajar Mountains toward the desert landscapes of the Sharqiyah Sands. It is known for its year-round watercourses, pools, rocky gorges, and clusters of date palms. Unlike many wadis that can become dry, Wadi Bani Khalid retains flowing water in parts of its upper valley, creating a green contrast with the surrounding arid terrain.

Derry stands on the banks of the River Foyle in Northern Ireland and is known for its intact seventeenth-century city walls, steep streets, and strong local identity.
